In 2025, Central Grampians LLEN will share its Ararat office with a Youthrive Victoria Rural Engagement Coordinator.
Lacie Pridan is currently working in the CGLLEN office every Wednesday, providing opportunities for local young people to build knowledge, skills, leadership capacity and aspirations.
CGLLEN is co-located in the Department of Education building on the grounds of Ararat College. Executive Officer, Jane Moriarty said the organisation was proud to be partnering with another youth program provider.
“Our office is a great fit for Youthrive Victoria as our staff are like-minded and have a shared passion for supporting young people to successfully transition from secondary school into employment or further study,” Ms Moriarty said.
“It has been wonderful to have Lacie in the office and hear about the wonderful work Youthrive is doing in the youth space.”
As part of her role, Ms Pridan coordinates school outreach for Youthrive Victoria’s Branch Out Mentoring (BOM) program in the South West region, primarily working in Ararat and surrounding areas.
The peer-to-peer program is tailored for rural and regional Year 12 students and aims to support their journey from high school into further education, vocational training, or the workforce.
