Central Grampians LLEN is encouraging businesses across Ararat Rural City and the Northern Grampians Shire to participate in the 2025 Western Victorian Careers Expo.

The 39th instalment of the event will be held at the Wimmera Events Centre in Longerenong on Tuesday 1 July.

CGLLEN Executive Officer said the Western Victorian Careers Expo was a great way for local employers to promote themselves to a vast audience.

“This is country Victoria’s largest careers expo, attracting more than 2000 students, parents, jobseekers and careers changers each year,” Ms Moriarty said.

“Having a presence at the expo is a fantastic way to advertise job vacancies, promote your industry to potential employees and raise your business profile across Western Victoria.”

Central Grampians LLEN will attend this year’s Western Victorian Careers Expo to introduce attendees to VIC VICE, a new virtual reality platform that showcases various workplaces in a fully immersive, interactive, and multi-sensory way.

Other highlights will include guest speakers, vehicle and plant displays, interactive ‘Try a Trade’ activities and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Flight Simulator.

Ms Moriarty said local businesses interested in registering for the expo should visit www.wimmeracareerexpo.com or call event organiser David Crooks from Wimmera Southern Mallee LLEN on 0419 978 702.

The Western Victorian Careers Expo is hosted by the Wimmera and Southern Mallee Careers Association in partnership with schools, businesses, and training and employment organisations.
